Community Services AwardThis award covers employees working in the community services sector, i.e. shelters, advisory and advocacy services, community development activities, social policy research, counselling services and disability services provided in the home of the client. The award regulates wages and conditions of employment including annual and sick leave, parental leave, overtime, sleepovers, hours of work, classification levels, holidays with pay, shift work, bereavement leave and more. Employees should check the Agreements section as HACSU has negotiated several agreements with individual services which regulates specific conditions.
