Who's done the training? Who's getting left behind? With many enterprise agreements now giving union members a right to participate in union training - some agreements allow for paid time - there is no obstacle to improving the skills available to represent members in your workplace. These courses teach skills such as interpersonal communication skills, questioning, speaking, handling workplace grievances, dispute settling procedures, all about awards and agreements and how to protect and advance the rights of members. These courses will help you establish your own Worksite Committees, help you sort out disputes faster, make your workplace a safer place and show you how you can assert your rights. If you are a member or delegate contact the union office and get yourself booked into a course. The following workplaces have completed training Umina Park Nursing Home, Mayne Health Hobart, Aldersgate Nursing Home Launceston, Eskleigh Nursing Home Hobart, Ashley Youth Detention Centre, Launceston Presbyterian Home, Queen Victoria Nursing Home Hobart. A host of other workplaces are booked in to undertake workplace training in the very near future. Don't let your workplace get left behind. Don't let your rights be trampled over. Book into a course today.
