Rehab Services to be returned to the Public SectorCalvary Health Care Adult Rehabilitation Services in the Southern Region is about to be returned to the public sector. Some years ago Rehab Tasmania was transferred out of the public sector to Calvary Health Care. Now it has been decided to transfer the service back to the public sector. To ensure continued provision of these services HACSU has moved to establish a consultative committee to make sure all staffing entitlements are transferred across. HACSU officials want to be sure entitlements and jobs are secure should their be restructuring down the line when the services come back into the public sector. It is hoped this process will be quickly finalised and services can continue to be provided to Tasmanians.
