- Pharmacy - Shortages of pharmacists across Australia was growing.
- Physio - Had a 28% turnover rate. There are national shortages of Physiotherapists. No undergraduate program in Tas.
- Podiatry - Had a turnover rate of 22%. Shortages of Podiatrists reported in rural areas. No undergraduate program in Tas.
- Psychologists - Shortages for specific specialities reported.
- Radiation Therapy - No undergraduate program in Tas. Is likely to experience imminent shortages if not addressed.
- Radiology - Had 9 positions vacant for in excess of 6 months in second half of 2001. Reported shortages in some speciality areas. No undergraduate program in Tas.
