Member Caroline Knipe takes the PrizeRadiation therapist, Caroline Knipe, has won the Athena Foniadakis Scholarship for professional development. Caroline, who works at the WP Holman Clinic in the Royal Hobart Hospital, gets to go to the 8th International Workshop on Electronic Portal Imaging at University of Sussex, Brighton, UK in June 2004. The objectives will be to discuss and promote the use of EPI to verify radiation therapy treatments, with emphasis on the application of EPI in the clinic. There will also be an emphasis on gaining an understanding of EPI as a research tool, and the clinical implications of research results. Caroline will also be updating herself on the development of new technologies and applications. Well done Caroline.
