Healthscope Nurse EBA Finalised

The enterprise agreement for nurses employed at the Hobart Private and St Helens Private Hospitals has been completed.

Members will receive the following benefits from the agreement;

• wage increases of 20%,

• post Graduate Qualification allowance ranging from 4% to 7.5% depending on qualifications held,

• preceptor allowance of $1.00 per hour for RN level 1 and ENs,

• in charge allowance of $25.00 for the shift,

• nominated person allowance (St Helens only) of $20 per shift,

• increase in the On Call allowance to $3.50 per hour for all periods between 8.00am Monday until 8.00am Saturday and $4.50 per hour for all periods between 8.00am Saturday until 8.00am Monday and for all periods on public holidays,

• increase in the night shift allowance to 25%,

• twelve weeks maternity leave; and,

• pro-rata long service leave after ten years service. The agreement was endorsed by members and guarantees Nurse members improved wages and conditions over the next three years.
