Eliza Purton and OneCare to become one

Eliza Purton Nursing Home, one of the largest employers on the North West Coast, is being taken over by OneCare Ltd, subject to a satisfactory due diligence process and all issues being investigated on the feasibility of such transfer.

If the merger gets the go-ahead, HACSU will prepare a transfer agreement, which will ensure members will not be disadvantaged.

This Agreement will ensure HACSU members accrued entitlements, such as, sick leave, annual leave, long service leave etc, are fully protected.

In addition to this, the Agreement provides that salaries, classifications, conditions of employment, anniversary dates shall not be altered as a consequence of the transfer.

HACSU members will be consulted and kept fully informed on the progress of these negotiations.
