Another push to increase Sleepover Payments in Disability Services

Following an initiative from three facilities in the North West Region for an increase to sleepover payments in disability services, a new statewide offer has been put on the table by employers.

Employers have offered to increase payments for a sleepover shift from $21 to $50.

Importantly, this offer is not dependent on additional funding by Government.

The rider on this offer is that there will be no disturbance allowance.

HACSU officials have sent out a survey to all members statewide to get feedback on this offer.

Members will be advised of the result as soon as responses have been collated.
