St V's Staff Support Merger

Staff at St Vincents Hospital are strongly supporting a merger of their hospital with Calvary Health Care.

The members believe they have a very good working environment
now but that a merger would improve their viability and their security.

"Our workmates here are great and it is a very nice working
environment. We are all hoping the merger goes ahead because it would be the best thing for Launceston with less duplication," Rhonda Stewart and Glennis Sleurink said.

"It would be a great thing," Rick Anderson says. We would be looking at bigger and better things."

HACSU is closely monitoring the situation and members will be informed of any developments.

HACSU members Rhonda Stewart and Glennis Sleurink were reassured by HACSU's presence in an uncertain time.
