Regional Imaging members win 13% increase

HACSU MEMBERS who work in the administration and clerical stream of Regional Imaging have won a new enterprise bargaining agreement that includes a wage increase of 13%, with 7% paid upfront.

The agreement, won after members increased their level of union membership in the workplace and became more organised, also includes a range of other benefits such as;

• an increase to annual leave loading,
• increases to parental and adoption leave provisions- up to seven weeks paid,
• bereavement and compassionate leave-up to 10 days on the death of a family member, and 14 weeks on the death of a child,
• increases to the uniform allocation, and
• a partial redundancy clause inserted into the redundancy agreement.

The agreement affects members at Launceston, Latrobe and Burnie.

Members were very happy with the agreement, which will assist with recruitment and retention issues into the future.
