Health Professionals Sub-Branch

All Health Professional HACSU members automatically belong to the Health and Community Services Union Health Professionals sub-branch.

The sub-branch was established in 1991 in recognition of the ever-increasing numbers of Health Professionals joining our union.

The aim of the sub-branch is to provide a forum for the specific concerns of Health Professionals within the union and to further the industrial relations objectives and interests of the Health Professional workforce.

The Health Professional sub-branch is represented by the sub-branch executive, elected biennially. Executive members represent a cross-section of health professions and worksites around the state. Executive meetings are held quarterly.
