END OF TERM 4 (CHRISTMAS) SCHOOL HOLIDAY INFORMATION AND VACANCIES.
There are weeks available at HACSU Holiday Homes for the end of Term 4 School Holidays. These vacancies are:
Sandy Bay: 18 Dec – 26 Dec 2016; 1 Jan – 17 Jan 2017; 22 Jan – 4 Feb 2017.
Southport: no bookings available at this stage.
St Helens: no bookings available.

Bookings for Peak periods (school holidays) at St Helens and Southport are determined via ballot. Call HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 to register your interest. Ballots are drawn three months prior to the nominated Peak Period.
The Sandy Bay unit is not ballotted, and is available on a first-in, first-served basis.
Only HACSU Members are eligible to rent HACSU Holiday Homes and the responsible Member/s must stay throughout the entire rental period.
Standby rates are now available for all properties. Standby rates can only be accessed within 14 days prior to the booking (7 days during ballot periods).
We have also introduced a Long Weekend rate during off peak times; which is for a 3 night weekend stay that includes a Sunday night at either Sandy Bay, Southport or St Helens.

The St Helens and Southport homes are available for set rental periods.
Only Sandy Bay is available for single nights (but it is cheaper per night if rented for 3, 5 or 7 nights).

A deposit is required upon collection of keys, which is refunded upon keys’ return. Keys must be returned within one week of the end of the rental period, or immediately after during peak periods.
To help keep rental costs down, it is the responsibility of members staying at the holiday homes to ensure they are left clean and tidy for the next member, and to immediately report any breakages or faults. General cleaning products (detergent, all-purpose cleaner and sponges, etc) are not provided and should be taken with you to clean the home prior to departure. In the event the holiday homes are left unclean you may forfeit your deposit or be unable to rent the holiday homes again.
Health laws require that you supply your own linen (doonas, sheets, blankets, pillows, pillowcases, towels, etc) or they can be hired from HACSU ($35 per double bed-set and $25 per single-bed set). Linen can be collected from either the Hobart or Launceston HACSU offices 8.30am to 5pm at the time of collecting keys (payment for linen hire is required upon linen collection). Linen is unfortunately not available to North-West members unless they are able to collect linen from either the Hobart or Launceston offices.
HACSU Holiday Homes are totally smoke-free environments. Pets are not allowed (registered assistance animals exempt for members with a disability).
