Eliza Purton Nursing Home Voluntary Redundancy Agreement Registered

The Australian Industrial Relations Commission, in accordance with section 170LT of the Workplace Relations Act 1996, certified the Eliza Purton Nursing Home Voluntary Redundancy Agreement. The Agreement comes into force from the 27 February 2004 and shall remain in force until the 7 December 2004.

This Agreement protects employees during the restructuring process at Eliza Purton Nursing Home and Coroneagh Park from involuntary redundancies, involuntary reduction or alteration of hours that causes a loss of employees income during the life of the Agreement.

Congratulation goes out to the HACSU Delegates at Eliza Purton Nursing Home and Coroneagh Park for their assistances in the Joint Consultative Process with Management. The Delegates felt that it was necessary to protect the existing employees who did not want to take the opportunity of voluntary redundancy. - Well done.
