Inaugral HACSU Conference to be Held in November

HACSU will be holding the first of what will be an annual Conference of delegates, other representatives and members on 8 November 2002. The Secretary of the ACTU, Greg Combet, will be the key note speaker at the conference which aims to provide a forum for Union members to actively participate and learn from the experiences of others.

HACSU invites Delegates and Representatives including: Worksite Committee members, Sub Branch members or any other HACSU member that is interested in "Getting Involved" in their Union.

The Program includes guest speakers and participative workshops where the focus is on being active and participating in the ongoing development of your Union.

Come along and find out why a Worksite Committee is a positive and productive tool in the workplace. Discover how a group of members "Working Together" can bring about positive change.

The Conference will be held at the Derwent Entertainment Centre in Hobart on Friday 8 November 2002.

Transport will be provided by HACSU from Burnie, Devonport and Launceston
