Disability Services RALLY ALERT 30 March, 2009

25 March 2009

Disability Services Members' Rally for Better Funding.

Disability Services' desperate need for funding is now in the hands of the Tasmanian Government.

The decision for increased funding will ultimately be made at the next State Government Cabinet meeting - HACSU needs to increase action and step up exposure of this vital campaign.

HACSU has organised a rally to correspond with the next meeting of Cabinet.

The Cabinet meeting will take place on 30 March 2009 at the Executive Building at 15 Murray Street, Hobart.

The rally will begin at 10:00am and all Disability Services members are urged to attend. We must show the State Government that Disability Support Workers are angry at the Government's continuing failure to fund the Disability Services Industry wages Agreement.

Workers have waited far too long for the much needed improved wages and conditions - come along, show your support and make some noise!

Where: Executive Building, 15 Murray St, Hobart 7000
