HACSU holiday home ballot process10 December 2009Bookings for school holiday periods are allocated through a ballot system. Ballots are drawn SIX MONTHS PRIOR to the holiday period. It is recommended that members place their name on the ballot at least nine months prior to the ballot period they are wanting to be included in. The following table shows when ballots will be drawn: Easter School Holidays - Six months prior to the Easter break Please note: Easter ballots run for 2 weeks. The first week is the week leading in to Easter which isn't school holidays, however this week incorporates Good Friday. The second week starts from Easter Sunday. Members will be advised whether successful or not within approx. 2 weeks of the ballot closure. If you are successful, a $100.00 deposit is required within 14 days of date of invoice which will confirm your booking, and full payment is required within 8 weeks of the original invoice date. For those members who are unsuccessful in the ballot, your name will be placed at the top of our waiting list and you will be contacted in the event of any cancellations during the period you were balloted for.
