HACSU has been campaigning around Equal Pay for female dominated industries such as Community Services and Disability Services. A recent survey by the Australian Government shows Australian Attitudes to Pay Equity. 80% of people believe that women receive less pay than men for working full time. And they'd be right - women on average earn 18% less than men. The HACSU Fair Go campaign is tackling the issue of the pay gap for women in the Community and Disability Service industry, looking at wage increases of 18 - 40% as a resolution to the pay equity issue.
