Some of you have told us the ban that prevents you from working outside of your ward has helped ease your workload and stress. This is great to hear and just what these bans are meant to do!
We’ve been talking with management and we will continue to advocate for reasonable workloads for hospital aides. Until there is a longer-term solution, these bans will stay in place indefinitely and if necessary, we can add some more.
Well done for standing together and saying NO when asked to undermine the bans. This solidarity is what makes our union strong and enables us to achieve so many positive changes at workplaces.
Let's keep the momentum going until management fix the issues that forced you to take industrial action in the first place.
